Tesco - 2020 external assessment for Customer Services roles

Hi All,

I have tried applying for customer service / assistant roles at Tesco over the last few months. For these roles, there is an assessment with the same 11 questions each with 4 possible options. The user is to select whether they agree more or less with each of the 4 options. I must have applied for dozens of these roles and am shocked that whatever answers I give, I can never pass the assessment.

Is it just me, or are others failing it too? And what combination of answers lead to passing the test?

There are no right and wrong answers as they are points based. Get enough pints and you pass.
As others posters have said. - answer based on the best outcome for the customer, supporting your team and not breaking Tesco rules.

And after you do the questionnaire once theres no way back to do it again is that correct? I tried setting up another account and didnt even get to this stage with the same application. It's very odd

It's pretty much common sense. It's all customer focussed so, what ever the right thing for the customer is that's the right answer. Can you give an example of the ones that you are struggling with?

Hey @throwaway10000 . I can't manage to pass the test and i really need a job. Could you please tell all the answers?

I got through the questions second time after doing some googling.

All singing and dancing, follow boss and H&S to the letter and at the same time deliver the ultimate customer service while being a shoulder to cry on if your colleagues are having a bad hair day and doing their tasks too just to get things done.

I think I fell down by the wayside at a later stage because I couldn’t be available for shifts in every slot over 24 hours 7 days a week.

The test must have been designed by a moron. Loads of good people not getting a chance at Tescos due to this stupid test. I'd like to see some of tescos management try it
