5 minute crafts (5MC) make make money because they are content farms.
They create content that is easy to view and believable to the casual viewer.
The way the money is made is lime this
5mc show you a short video, (say) on Facebook, and then you might watch anther related video, which may be 5mc, or someone else. You spend 25 extra minutes on FB above the planned 5 minutes of checking your feed.
The videos keep you on FB. In those 25 extra minutes, you'll be looking at adverts on FB, you're more likely to click on an ad.
Simlified: Advertisers pay FB per click, 5mc keeps you on the platform, so FB rewards 5mc for content (eg pay per 100k views)
5mc gets more money, so creates more videos, which show up FB more, which makes FB money, so they pay 5mc more money... They keep making more videos
Etc
Etc
Etc
5mc (a subsidiary of TheSoul Publishing) are actually 1 channel that TSP own. They own hundreds of video channels, all churning out content for services like FB, YouTube etc.
They're actually hijacking YouTube and the like, driving out actual content creators, pushing them done the rankings. Buy YT doesn't care, because they're making more and more money...
YT go to great length to hide the fact their platform's most popular videos are actually content farm videos.
