To expect recruiters to read your application form

I applied for a job that was advertised as 37 hours but open to job share and flexible working. Five openings were advertised for the same post. (For a local authority)

Spent ages on the application form clearly stating that I could work part time/job share and was explicit in my flexibility.

Had the interview today, after preparing etc.
Amazingly I got the offered the job this afternoon - fantastic!
but there is absolutely no negotiation on the full time post.

I know I should feel lucky to be offered a job in this climate, but am I being unreasonable to expect them to have read my application form???

It would have saved me hours in preparation and their time interviewing me.

So frustrating

Having worked in local authority if the post is advertised as 37 hours then that's what it will be. What they usually mean by job share that it might be possible for you and another full time colleague doing the same job to ask if you can share it. If it is feasible they may grant permission and that creates another full time post for someone else.
By flexible working they might be referring to flexitime with core hours of 10am-4pm but you make up the difference either side of these times.
Apologies if you know all this already !

I think you misunderstood

For a job share 2 people apply between them for 1 post. They work out who does which days but come as a pair

Flexible working would be within a full time job (as explained above)

What you wanted was part-time- which wasn't what was being advertised.
