Didn’t think it would feel weird but it does

My friend is now my manager at work. I am also friends with her sister and the situation just feels strange. She has formalised our relationship which I knew would happen but it feels weird. I also feel like there is a conflict in confidentiality as I’m quite private but run the fear of my manager sharing everything I say with her sister. Her sister talks about everyone and is very chatty. I don’t trust her at all so we’re friends on a basic level. I am on the hunt for a new job. AIBU

How are you only worried about your friend/manager telling her sister your business now your friend is your manager? Did this not bother you before?

I have worked for a friend...you just have to keep it separate. It's not hard.

Has she always shared everything you tell her in confidence with her sister? If so, she isn't much of a friend.
