To ask what you have left over for 'fripperies'

So I'm at university studying full time, working part time 8hrs pw and bring in around £300, I also get UC. I'm looking at moving out of my mums with my daughter so I've been summing up the costs. I've worked it out, by budgeting my SF, UC and wages I will have around £250pm a spare, a bit more in the summer as UC don't deduct my UC during summer break. Yhis is after all bills, a bit in savings. Doesn't include child benefit as that goes into my daughter's ISA.

Is £250 a month enough to spend on entertainment or is it rubbish? Am I being cheeky to ask how much you spend on 'fun'?

Does that include food?
Travel etc.

If that's after that's plenty. As a family of 5 we have no more than 100 for fun money a month but thays due to huge rent and old debt we're nearly clearing

@Family1st2020 yes after food, everything! My travel was covered by an additional grant and at the moment it's pretty much all online anyway! 3 visits into London between start and Christmas!

That's good news, thought our life might be a bit boring 😂. It could be more but I like to save as otherwise I'll never have a house!
