To ask why one of my hands is always cold?

No matter what, at least one of my hands will always be cold. And, my feet are freezing unless I'm wearing something over them (tights, socks, slippers, whatever).

Has anyone else had the same thing and if so, what caused it? Confused

Do you lean on that hand a lot, like when you use your laptop or tablet?

jennie0412 · 26/10/2020 00:59

The thing is, it's not one specific hand! It happens to both, but at any given time one of them will be cold. Right now it's my left one, and I'm just sitting in bed, with my hand under my arse trying to warm it back up HmmGrin

I suffer with very cold feet and if they get cold, I cannot warm up myself. I have a heated blanket in bed and when at my desk, a fan heater directed at my feet to keep warm.

Poor circulation maybe?

Yeahnahmum · 26/10/2020 02:10

Blood circulation in women ismore effective than in men. Our blood goes to our main organs mostly. Therefore the blood flow to our hands and feet is little hwnce women (almost)always having cold hand and feet... brrrrr.

Ps one colder hand could also just be from holding your phone mostly in that hand or being your mousehand when at the computer (bloodflow issue once again)

Ah, glad (selfishly) to hear that this happens to most women, and it's not just me being a freak of nature! I just had a very hot shower and my feet were still colder than the rest of me! Confused

Reynauds? Although it's usually more specific fingers or toes!
