To ask for babyshower gift inspiration

My friend has had to cancel her baby shower in a few weeks time as her area has just gone into tier 3 lockdown. I still want to send a present in the post but am struggling. I want something a little less generic and maybe something for her rather than baby as I'm sure more presents will come for him later on!

I have no ideas other than basic toiletry relaxing stuff which seems a bit boring. Help!!!!

Hey, what a lovely friend 😀. My daughter is nearly six months old and one thing that got me through was a decent large water bottle that I could take with me to bed and use throughout the night or day when feeding. You can get some really nice ones called Klean kanteen, that are insulted and various sizes, they will keep cold drinks cold for hours and hot drinks hot too. I'd have loved to receive one and have got myself one for Christmas (I was using a water bottle so always ended up with cold tea or coffee)

Lovely idea! Maybe with some fancy coffee...I'm sure she'll need it!!

I got some lovely bakery cakes for mine which went down well. 😋

Agree with nice water bottle or coffee cup. Nice PJs? They made me feel much better after my first was born and you wear Pjs a lot with a new baby. Nice biscuits/brownies? Hello Fresh/Cook voucher or delivery?

Just eat voucher.

Why not just get her something when baby arrives?

Maybe some bits for her hospital bag and to be used after? A nice new flannel, chocolates, slippers, face masks, biscuits, lip balm
