DH and I recently moved house and so I went online to purchase furniture. I wanted more that matched some drawers we already owned from Wayfair - but Wayfair was out of stock of the rest of the range. I found it somewhere else for a bit more money but it was worth it to get it sooner.
I paid almost £800 and received an email confirming my order and another email saying not to hesitate to contact if I have any problems. After a week, I'd heard nothing else and nothing had arrived and I started to get anxious. I messaged on their web chat - no response. A week later with still no contact, I emailed. No response. I then checked their google and yell reviews - and there was a 50/50 split of (what I think are) fake reviews and reviews that talk of exactly the same experience I received.
I emailed again and eventually got a reply saying they don't have my furniture in stock - it might be in next month! So, I said to cancel my order because I only ordered from them because the cheaper and reputable retailer was out of stock! The business emailed back to tell me not to be rude and that if I want good customer service, I should've gone somewhere with better reviews. They essentially said I should've gone elsewhere because they don't do their job well!
