I’ve listened to this song about 10 times today. I love it!

What does everyone else think of it.

Here’s a link if you’ve never heard it: m.youtube.com/watch?v=LmeOC0OTY_Q

Hate it

DaftyD · 16/10/2020 23:17

It's a cracker. Always filled the floor at the indie clubs I used to go to so broad appeal as well. Not sure why you think it's underrated though? Think it's generally well regarded.

middleager · 16/10/2020 23:18

YABVU. It's awful.

BooFuckingHoo2 · 16/10/2020 23:18

YABU rock DJ is the most underrated Robbie song

Pelleas · 16/10/2020 23:18

I've always quite liked it.

DaftyD · 16/10/2020 23:20

Oh I just clicked on your link. Thought you were talking about Robbie Williams.

No, this one isn't as good.

purplemunkey · 16/10/2020 23:21

I hate it. And Rock DJ. I think that’s even worse actually. Both have me switching station or muting straight away.

weaselwords · 16/10/2020 23:21

Was alcohol involved in the creation of this post?

purplemunkey · 16/10/2020 23:22

Oh, also thought you were talking Robbie. Sorry.

Theromanempire · 16/10/2020 23:22

I like it! Most underrated Robbie song is Me and My Monkey...such a great song and shame it was never released as a single Confused

SequinsandStiIettos · 16/10/2020 23:22

Indie? Queen isn't indie, surely?
I don't have a clue how you'd dance to that track either. Wrong age probably, indie for me was Pixies, Stone Roses, Placebo etc Have never heard the above played in any club - clearly I haven't lived!
I like some Queen tracks but not keen on that one OP sorry. At least it wasn't Robbie Grin

Theromanempire · 16/10/2020 23:22

Oh didn't click on the link but assumed you were talking Robbie Blush

SequinsandStiIettos · 16/10/2020 23:24

Ah, x-posts. Am not losing it after all. Didn't hear Robbie played on indie nights either mind Wink

Paddingtonthebear · 16/10/2020 23:24

The original is shit so any cover of it will be too. Sorry! 😆

DaftyD · 16/10/2020 23:24

No, Queen isn't indie.

DaftyD · 16/10/2020 23:26

They played the Robbie track at a couple of the clubs I used to go to and all the greebos would wig out. It was quite the spectacle.

user1471457751 · 16/10/2020 23:28

Disappointed this wasn't about Robbie Williams

JayAlfredPrufrock · 16/10/2020 23:29

Thought you we’re talking about Gypsy.

FinnegansWhiskers · 16/10/2020 23:30

Ewww. I was looking forward to clicking the link and reminiscing about Robbie.

This doesn’t measure up. Sorry!

SoupDragon · 16/10/2020 23:39

The best bit about that Link was that Robbie was top of the suggestions of what to watch next!

Pelleas · 16/10/2020 23:40

Agree with PP, this is the best Robbie Williams song.

dazzlinghaze · 16/10/2020 23:42

Another one who thought this was going to be about Robbie Williams. I opened the thread in a hurry to agree! Grin

Jesus in a camper van is an awesome tune but always think of Jesus in the cabbage van now (v. Old mn thread!)
