Hello, I am seeking for advice please. My daughter has a friend who is homeless after a relationship breakdown. I feel very much for the chap but don't want my daughter's tenancy threatened by her having anyone stay for more than a night or two. I have spoken to local housing and am waiting for a ring back - does anyone know what else I can try? Thank you

Why would her housing situation be compromised? And if your daughter is over 18 it isnt your business

There’s nothing to prevent your daughter having a friend stay - he’ll just become part of her household for restriction reasons.

Is he working? Able bodied? If so, I really can’t see the council homelessness team being very interested. What’s stopping him finding a new flat or flatshare? There are no restrictions on this.
