To want some indestructible shoes for DS?!

My 3 year old is wrecking his shoes on the ride on toys outside at preschool. He has ridiculously long legs so he’s too big for most of them! I’ve checked the Clarks website as he had some shoes from there a while ago with a big rubber bumper over the toe but they don’t seem to be doing anything like this at the moment! Has anyone found anything similar anywhere?

He does 30 hours at preschool so I want him in supportive and properly fitting shoes.

Look at Geox

Keen. Most have the rubber bumper toes!

Keen
My very active tree climbing skateboarding DS actually grows out of them before they wear out. They have enough life left to pass onto another child. Pricey but they last.

Definitely Geoxx. Completely indestructible and have the rubber toe. Great shoes.

The best we had were Superfit. Geox are also good. Try a good independent shoe shop and they should be able to recommend something.

Clark’s outlet website sometimes has their older rubber bumper style.

Oh yes I had the same problem when my son was at nursery. Lockdown happened before I could find a decent pair that it didn't happen to but his Clarke's seem to be lasting so far in Reception and if I remember rightly they do have a rubber toe

Another vote for Geox. Not cheap, but he will grow out of them before they wear out.

We gave up on all varieties of school shoes and got lightweight walking boots from Go Outdoors. They had a sort of softshell upper. Lasted way better than anything else and we just kept getting the next size up.
