AIBU to ask what colour are your curtains....

I'm so confused lol! These are for the back room, that backs onto the garden. Havent had curtains up to now as at was summer when we moved in but it's getting colder in the evenings. So it's a big patio door/windows - I wanted to go for white/cream, but obviously not very practical. I'm not really a flowery sort of person. Trouble is all the curtains on trend seem to be grey, or pastel . I have a brown sofa, brown table and the walls are yellowy cream. I've been looking at yellow colours with a pattern, or I saw a burnt orange colour? Or would I get sick of a stronger colour. It's north facing so need something either bright, or warm maybe? WWYD

But when i had brown sofa and beige carpet we has a sort of gold colour with brown spirals ( nicer than they sound )

YABU to ask what colour my curtains are, I only have shutters.

Mine are bronze. My decor is in similar colours to yours and it really works.

Who cares what Is on trend do what you want

We mainly have blinds and I'm a real hater if patterns, but in the lounge we have some silk white curtains with large outlined peoney shapes in a black velvety and silver colour. I wanted white because we often close the curtains in the day because the sun is powerful through that large window so it maintains a normal level of light. The rest of the room is blue, white with silvery accent colours and a wooden floor.

The only other curtains I have are in our main bedroom and they're silver velvet drapes.

Avoid it personally as it's going out of fashion, albeit I don't see my silver stuff as grey (we rented recently due to our own home being renovated and that had grey carpets and curtains which were bland and a dull, my silver things have more pizazz lol 😆

I have these from Hillary’s. Pattern and a bit of colour, but not so dominant/distinct that I’d need to replace them if I changed the colour scheme in the room.
