Are there not enough new talent on mainstream tv?

It seems there are two extremes - reality tv stars and old BBC stars that always get contracts for new tv shows.

E.g. Zoe ball. Presented Live and Kicking, than Radio 1, Radio 2. Sara Cox and Chris Evans.

Im just bored of the same circle of tv/radio personalities getting the same jobs.

Completely agree. Some presenters are totally over exposed. Holly, ant and dec, etc etc.

It's the same with films. Everything's part of a series, or a remake, or a comic or book adapted. I WANT A NEW FILM!

No-one's prepared to take the risk of a flop.

@ShirleyPhallus yes! Why did ‘I’m into the closet’ Phil get a slot on a rival show. Ant and Dec OMG should be binned.

@merryhouse try independent cinemas. I watch “art house” films. Hit and miss but good.
