Aibu to love this?! Is she having a laugh with the songs she does at the end? Aibu to wonder whether it's all tongue in cheek?

She’s very down to earth and normal, isn’t she? I think the song at the end is hilarious, surely tongue in cheek (please god, otherwise I’m cringing for her!)

SuzieBishop · 10/10/2020 21:37

I looooove the programme but oh my lord I can’t stand the song at the end - I think my skin would fall off if I watched it all the way through 😂

loutypips · 10/10/2020 21:38

My dd loves her! She wants to go on a cruise in the hope of meeting Jane!

caughtalightsneeze · 10/10/2020 21:40

I watched the one with York and New York and then couldn't quite believe my eyes and ears at breaking into song at the end. I had to rewind to watch it again Grin

Ihatefish · 10/10/2020 21:42

It’s fantastic-I love Jane

Muchtoomuchtodo · 10/10/2020 21:43

I think these programmes are ace!
I spend half of each episode wondering what the song at the end will be!

peachypetite · 10/10/2020 21:46

I love it. It’s so bad it’s good.

We've done this a few times!! Which song was it this time?!

It’s great lighthearted, easy watching. She’s clearly taking the piss, the one on tonight where she was talking to a member of Hungarian royalty, turned up with no gift wearing some sort of bizarre traditional costume was hilarious. It’s such a shame she’s quit.

MirandaMarple · 10/10/2020 21:51

Addictive although she isn't a natural travel show presenter. Everything is either 'fabulous' or solved with a wee libation. Can't fault that though. She is very likeable.

JayAlfredPrufrock · 10/10/2020 21:52

I was just wondering what my life has become that I was sitting watching this on a Saturday evening.

I do turn off when she sings though.

munchbunch12 · 10/10/2020 21:54

I love it too. I remember in one of her travel shows she sang Madonna's Ray of Light, it was very tongue in cheek and fabulous!!

orlagivememore · 10/10/2020 21:55

Lol I think I remember that one, that was a good one!

My favourite one was with the song "something inside so strong", I like the naff video effects she does!

I love it too! But be warned, I wanted to look it up on Twitter for the comments and innocently searched #cruising. Never again and please don’t do it, there’s only so much eye bleach in this world

incognitomum · 10/10/2020 22:00

I honestly think it isn't tongue in cheek. I think she's a typical cruise singer but she has a good soh for presenting.
