To ask if if you ever open/read marketing emails?

I only ever open a few.
DH opens most

Pretty much never. And I work in marketing!

Never, if I'm interested in something I will actively search for them. i don't want to keep a stash of marketing emails 'just in case' and I get so many that I would never remember who sent what.

Almost never. I have a ‘junk’ e-mail account which I use for signing up to almost everything, including MN. That way, the endless spam goes to that account instead of my main e-mail address which is kept for important stuff.

I only open emails from companies that I already buy stuff from. All the others get marked as spam and deleted.

Never. I also don't watch tv ads or read magazines or newspapers.
tbh, MN ads tend to crash my laptop so they are rendered mostly invisible to me, too. Basically the only way advertising reaches me is on side of a bus/bus stop.

No. I have throwaway email addresses I never check and extensive spam filters. I opt out of every marketing list.

Email marketing is so overdone it’s killed the golden goose. As for adverts on sites like this I don’t buy from them. They are intrusive and annoying.

I have a separate email for them. If I am buying for a company I have bought from before I tend to log in to see if they have sent a discount code.
