I’ve been feeling a little tired and sicky the last few days so I’ve just taken a test, what do you think? My period isn’t due for another 12 days according to my Flo app! The line has colour. It said to check within 10 minutes, I checked it after about 12 minutes, is this a false negative?

I think I can see a very faint line!

Honestly, given all of your information I wouldn't take that as a definite positive. It wasn't really checked in time (10 minutes its a longer wait time than is typical anyway, isn't it?), and if you have regular periods then getting a positive 12 days before your period is quite unusual, many woman may still be ovulating at this point in a regular cycle.

Having said that, I fell pregnant with my second a couple of days after my period finished according to the dating scan/birth date so anytime possible.

I see the line but it looks quite thin. If you're not due a period for 12 days then you would only have just ovulated no? In which case a test wouldn't show up yet

It's very unlikely unless you have had a short implantation bleed and mistaken it for a period, which is what happened to me. I was 7 weeks when I tested positive.

This is one of the few test I've seen on here that I would say is almost definitely positive, looks like my test when I was 5 weeks.

It looks positive BUT as it's 12 days until your period it's more likely that you're ovulating and it's picked up on the test which I think is quite common. When I was TTC with my first if I was out of ovulation tests I'd use a pregnancy test because apparently it picks up that too.

No way you’d get a positive test that early. Just wait until after your period is due.

Yeah I'd definitly say positive. Looks like mine at about 9dpo.

From vast experience with those internet cheapie pregnancy tests recently, they are very bad for dark evaps/shadows even before they are "dry" if you know what I mean. I had several looking like that and they weren't positive.

I would assume it wasn't positive until you're getting a solid slightly darker pink line.
