Just found this on Netflix and it is pure genius. It’s hilarious!

Dd has finally, finally got bored of Bing (the little psychopath) and doesn’t like Duggee (WHY) and is entranced by this. I feel this is one of the kids programs I’ll keep watching when she’s in bed Grin

My favourite is when Captain Redbeard flirts with Nanny Plum "Plum's have always been the sweetest fruit" Blush

GwendolineMarysLaces · 03/10/2020 10:45

The episode where they visit the planet Bong is my favourite ever

GwendolineMarysLaces · 03/10/2020 10:46

Oh, and 'Big Bad Barry'

RightOnTheEdge · 03/10/2020 10:53

I love Ben and Holly! It's genius.
JELLLLYYYY FLOOOOOOD! Grin

My dc don't watch things like that anymore Sad
They just want people playing games on YouTube 🙄

Cauterize · 03/10/2020 11:25

Yep it's amazing. The episode Nanny Plum and the Wise old Elf swap jobs for the day is a particular favourite of mine!

littlepeas · 03/10/2020 11:54

My kids are 9. 10 and 12 and have recently rediscovered Ben and Holly! It’s really fun to see them getting the jokes aimed at adults. They’ve rewatched some of Peppa Pig too!

Judashascomeintosomemoney · 03/10/2020 12:17

Oh yes, DDs are 16 and 17 now but we used to watch it all together in the mornings on Milkshake. A particular favourite was the Elf Rocket episode with them planning landing on the moon and Nanny Plum saying she’d bring a picnic. Daddy Elf tells her not to be so silly you can’t have a picnic on the moon, and the episode ends with the words ‘This episode continues next time in, Picnic On The Moon!!!’ . So funny.

MarieIVanArkleStinks · 03/10/2020 12:38

It's so damned sarky. I love it!

TeddyIsaHe · 03/10/2020 12:43

I have tried so hard for her to like Duggee, it’s ‘boring’ apparently. My child has no taste.

I aspire to be as cutting and sarcastic as Nanny Plum.

It's fab, I love Gaston the naughty ladybird.

FuzzyPenguin · 03/10/2020 12:49

I loved Ben and Holly, we won tickets to the stage show was equally good, of course had to buy a cuddly Gaston “for DS”. And there is a Gaston is my homeboy T-shirt I am buying when I am skinny enough.

geekone · 03/10/2020 12:54

Nanny plum is just the best. My DS is 10 so won’t let me watch it anymore Grin

user1471517900 · 03/10/2020 12:57

The best line is still the one with grandpapapapa.

"What do you think of my creation, wise old elf?"
"It's an ABOMINATION"

Holly: "Daddy, what's an abomination?"
King Thistle: "That tulip"

Judashascomeintosomemoney · 03/10/2020 12:59

When I get asked for the umpteenth time, what’s for dinner mum? I often reply ‘Steam’ Grin

Coyoacan · 03/10/2020 13:25

Aaw, my granddaughter is past that stage and I so miss my fix of nanny plum.

Mittens030869 · 03/10/2020 13:29

I used to love Nanny Plum as well. It’s so long since my DDs used to watch it, sadly, they’re 11 and 8 now.

Xyzzzzz · 03/10/2020 13:32

@peakygal

Do you know Nanny Plum is also Ms Rabbit in Peppa Pig? I love Ben and Holly too
Yes, but miss rabbit is the ONLY redeeming thing about Peppa!

And Wise Old Elf is Grandpa Pig.

I agree with you about Ms Rabbit.

HoneyWheeler · 03/10/2020 13:41

Bluey on Disney+ is absolutely gorgeous. It rivals Hey Duggee in this house

Chickalicken · 03/10/2020 13:50

We are a ben and holly house here too! Dd, 2, is obsessed!

It makes me sad that most the merchandise isn't available anymore! She would love a ben and holly bedroom!

The bloody figures are a pain though, £10 for 5, and the arms fall off after a week.

dannydyerismydad · 03/10/2020 13:53

Gaston's nephews. My absolute favourite.

Magicbabywaves · 03/10/2020 13:56

Big Miss Jolly fan here.

TokyoSushi · 03/10/2020 13:57

Oh yes, we spent many happy years watching Ben & Holly!

TeaSoakedDisasterMagnet · 03/10/2020 14:05

Nanny Plum is the best!
