...white chocolate Toblerone?

Lovely white chocolate, nutty bits, chewy nougat, and best of all is nobody wants to share because lots of people dislike white chocolate.

Omg I thought You were going to say dark. It’s a white. All the way. The way it melts in the mouth. Oh and always room temp, not from the fridge unless you have teeth like either of the jaws. Oh and it has to be the big arse one.

CandyflossKing · 02/10/2020 22:10

There is no such thing as a good Toblerone!

CurlyMango · 02/10/2020 22:11

Dark is superior

Holothane · 02/10/2020 22:11

A salted caramel one oohh rubs hands in glee. Off to source one.

SchmooobyDoo · 02/10/2020 22:16

M&S Swiss Mountain Bar. Milk or White.

BrightYellowDaffodil · 02/10/2020 22:17

Toblerones are bad enough but white chocolate? The work of the devil.

If it’s got to be anything it should be the milk chocolate one, but even then I’d rather eat almost any form of chocolate - up to but not including the abomination that is a Terry’s Chocolate Orange - than chocolate that pierces the top of your mouth when you bite into it.

AnathemaPulsifer · 02/10/2020 22:18

Absolutely agree about white toblerone but they’re hard to find so I’ve been substituting M&S mountain bar.

TheDuchessofMalfy · 02/10/2020 22:27

Yabvu

Milk chocolate is the best Toblerone. Dark chocolate is the best chocolate otherwise.

White chocolate isn’t actually chocolate.

thegcatsmother · 02/10/2020 23:19

The crunchy almond one is the best. I used to stock up on the cross channel ferry.

BeeePeee · 02/10/2020 23:20

Omg yes. Bloody want some now.

HeIenaDove · 02/10/2020 23:39

I think they have done a honeycomb Toblerone for this Christmas.

HeIenaDove · 02/10/2020 23:40

Terrys Nutcracker was lush Was around in the late 80s

HeIenaDove · 02/10/2020 23:42

Can you ask your DH to describe this to me in detail, please?

I love Mint Crisps.

Is the mint flavour in the chocolate, or the crispy bits? I can never tell.

Terrys Chocolate Orange

The dark chocolate variant (with or without superficial damage to the box) is palm oil free. Toblerone is orang-friendly too.

TownHallDesigner · 02/10/2020 23:51

[quote HeIenaDove]Its in the crispy bits

YES YES YES. I have fond memories of eating these in the run up to Christmas 94 while watching Cracker.

user127819 · 03/10/2020 02:29

100% agree.

MrsClatterbuck · 03/10/2020 07:54

I prefer the dark chocolate one but I am not a big fan of milk chocolate unless it has maybe nuts in it or something. Not even sure if I like the new Cadburys Dark Milk. A tad too sweet maybe. Otoh Dh just loves milk chocolate and also white. This mean we can have our own chocolate stashes without fear of anyone pilfering them. I buy him Butlers white chocolate with berries which he loves. There is a brand in the ROI called Aine which makes the most divine dark chocolate with raspberry or lime. Also do it in milk with raspberry for DH. Haven't seen it in a while and not comfortable at the moment going over the border.

FrankskinnerscRoc · 03/10/2020 08:03

Twin Peaks is far better, & cheaper 😋

MinnieMountain · 03/10/2020 08:22

Dammit. I was laying off chocolate but now I can only think of doing a taste test between white Toblerone and the M&S one.

YANBU op.
