Hi, I am a single parent and I work full time.annual wage is 25k. my daughter is 3 in October, so from Jan she should be eligible for 30 free hours (i think), i currently get help from universal credit.
so, today i logged on to apply for the 30 free hours and i said that because I am claiming help from universal credit that I can't get it.
I understand that I cant claim both at the same time, but how do i switch from universal credit in dec to 30 free hours in jan?
my daughters pre school is term time only as i am a trainee teacher so i know the 30 free hours will be better financially too.
