To buy a 2019 advent calendar

I have seen the perfect toiletries advent calendar for my niece I know she will love and is in my price range, but it was released in 2019.

AIBU to think it will be fine and the toiletries will still be okay after a year?

I've looked up the current year's calendar by the same company and it's more than double the price so definitely way over budget

What do you think?

Its only once opened that the products have a shelf life of 12/24 months. Sure it will be fine - just be sure it doesn't have 2019 written on it else she will think your cheap?

Xmas is expensive enough - gotta save where you can.

I must admit i am so tempted to put our tree up and all the xmas decs now - this year can officially sod off!!!
