I have just started with them in the last month and every delivery has had missing items and mouldy veg. Is this the norm or have I been particularly unlucky with mine?
Annoying as I really like the meals.
Thanks

I’ve been using Gousto for a couple of years and it’s actually changed my life! I used to rely on ready meals and now 4 nights a week I cook a healthy home cooked meal from scratch. We barely get takeaways now as my husband always says Gousto is like having a restaurant meal every night.

We have had a couple of issues along the way eg missing ingredients, but they’re few and far between to be honest. Some of the veg doesn’t fare well like spring onions and basil can sometimes look a bit sad. But overall it’s been fantastic and I look forward to the new menu being released each week and planning my meals 🤗

On the packaging side they’ve made a lot of improvements and they’re trying as much as possible to move to recyclable as far as I can see.

I've never had missing ingredients or mouldy veg. I only get them when they send me offers though (currently having four weeks at 50% off). I did have them for about six months in a row at one point and no issues.

We've used HF for almost 2 years and very rarely have any issues. I think we've had chicken that went off in a day once, and missing essential ingredients maybe twice. We started on 3 meals for 4 people and then in lockdown upped it to 4.

However recently we've had carrots that looked really sad and a tiny weeny portion of fish that was literally matchbox-sized, which was annoying.

All in all though, I'm still happy with them. The positives of not having to meal plan, shop or worry about 'what's for dinner' for the majority of the week far, far outweigh the negatives imo. I think we've only had one recipe in all of that time that none of us really liked, too.

The packaging does need sorting though. The garage is being slowly overtaken by that bloody insulating stuff.
