I posted this on the coronavirus bit too but also want to post here for the views so I can get some advice quick.

Can't find anything on 111 about this situation.

I have come down with a temp today, I live with my mum and two brothers, and my dad has been visiting yesterday and today, as have my boyfriend, who have both slept here as well.

Where do we go visavis self isolation etc, what happens now?

Sorry panic alert!!

When someone I knew had Covid but lived in shared accommodation they literally had to self isolate in their own room and plan to use the toilet at certain times of the day, with thorough cleaning afterwards. Unless there is somewhere else you can stay? Are you able to order a test?

AliciaWhiskers · 22/09/2020 20:18

You need to test and isolate for 10 days or until your result is negative and everyone else needs to self isolate for 14 days.

RepeatSwan · 22/09/2020 20:20

You need to go in a room on your own, and all the contacts need to isolate until you get a test.

Thank you for your quick replies.

So can our visitors leave?

One will be staying with his elderly mum if he does, the other going to a full house after a long journey, my little brother goes to school my dad works.

I have nowhere else, I am housebound atm due to disabilities so I have to stay here in my room.

They should isolate. I don't know if they can leave!

Ah that's what I mean, I wanted to know if they could go isolate at home or had to stay here in the quarentine zone lol.
