To expect a chef to tie long hair back

My local pub is promoting a new chef doing Mexican food. It’s a great place & the food is mean to be great. But every time they put pics up of the chef cooking in the kitchen, he’s got his long dreadlocked hair down and looks sweaty!! The pub also has a good reputation for its track & trace etc.

I really want to go and eat there as I have heard nothing but good things about the food but the pics really put me off. All I can think is ‘tie your hair back’ 😂 It amazes me no one has commented. I used to date a guy with dreds and his hair used to get everywhere!!

Yanbu. Although dreads don't shed hair they can still get on food and drip sweat 🤢Dd worked in a kitchen and had to tie her hair back and wear a hair net and a hat.

Are the pictures swmi-staged because no one looks good in a hairnet? "Quick Dave, take your hairnet and your hat off for a second so I can get a photo for our FB page..."

@TweetUsOnFacebook yes exactly 🤢 I cringe every time I see a picture of it 🤮

@Gancanny I don’t know - even just tying hair back would look better! It’s just so off putting!!
