Started with a sharp pain, moves between a dull ache to a pain to a sharp pain also started a period at the exact same time which I don't get (mini pill means I've not had a period even when I missed days pill in the past for about 3 years) Pain is in a very specific spot, no pain around it just in one place. Went to a walk in centre, got checked over, told period was just a coincidence, could be a twisted ovary or a ovarian cyst and it told if the pain gets worse or I start vomiting then to go to A&E. Is that all I can do? Just wait for the pain to get so bad I can't cope? It's still painful, it might not be excruciating pain but it's enough to wake me up a few times in the the night.
I know it can be common but it doesn't sit well with me to just wait and see.

Thanks

I'm not voting, as you're not wrong to be worried, as it's your health.

I have had issues with ovarian cysts this past year, and up to this point I'd never even heard of them!!!

At the worst I can be vomiting and the pain is like contractions!! Been to hospital a few times and for scans - mine are never more than 3cm and thus don't need to be removed surgically. But they are on both ovaries.

Gynaecologist said they are hormone related, and offered to put me on the combined pill if I wanted, as he advised that could help.... I was not, and am not a fan of hormonal birth control so I declined.

Googling it brings up a lot of stories and experiences from others.
