I’m three weeks late on my period

I wasn’t sure where to put this as I don’t think I’m pregnant, and thought I’d get more answers here?

I had a baby 5 months ago and my periods came back six weeks later on time - except for the fact I had three in July following the morning after pill.

Since, I am three weeks late on my period. I have done countless home tests and also a blood test while in the hospital 2 and a half weeks ago.

The thing is, I’ve been having on/off cramping like maybe my period is coming. Only light, and doesn’t last long, but no other period symptoms.

I’m just wondering if this is a normal postpartum thing? I know periods can be erratic after birth but because mine came back I’m just not sure... GP isn’t very helpful either and HV said she wasn’t sure. Just wondering if maybe this happened to anyone else?

First time mum so a bit clueless!

Thanks, and sorry for posting in AIBU!

I’d say it has less to do with your birth and more to do with the morning after pill messing up your cycle - it can do that and sometimes take a couple of cycles to get back to normal I’ve found x

It's the MAP possibly as this messed up my cycle for a while.

Can anyone see this positive at all new to all this and don’t know how to make a thread😂

Test again in the morning or try first response. It was a reliable clear test.

Look below your message and you’ll see a clickable link saying ‘start a new thread in this topic.’ Then you can post your own query. The answer to your question will be split 50-50, so you’ll be no further forward; you’ll be told blue dye tests aren’t accurate because of evaporation lines; and to get a pink dye one, eg First Response; and use first morning urine. Any way round, you can tell if there’s a line there with your naked eye better than anyone looking at a photo of it on a phone. Good luck.

@qwerty2269 they both look positive to me.
