How do you pack your glasses plates etc?

Been so long since we've moved i dont have a clue.

I packed with Ikea bags mostly and it was a life saver. I wasn't moving very far though, and did multiple trips, so this may not be feasible for everybody. Had a man/van for the furniture.

With the few boxes I had, I didn't completely seal the box with packing tape. Once I took it over the edges I folded down one side to leave a tab so that I could easily rip it off.

Another vote for paying the movers to pack. Not usually a huge extra cost (ours was an extra £200 last time) they pack much quicker and better than you can, and usually your goods are only insured for breakages under their cover of they do the packing.
