I actually logve my Quinny. I got it 2nd hand from a mner, and I have used it loads.DS2 seems to like it, as it's a bit more snug for him to sit in than the otrher buggy we have, in which he just kind of slumps because it's too big. DS1 likes the quinny as well. He slept ih it in the evenings when we went on holiday, and ntold me yestradt "Mummy, I love my purple buggy"

It's better than the big fecking Britax monstrosity I got when DS1 was born. However, I don;t use it for shopping as I drive. I can see how they would be a bugger if you were reliant on them to shop etc. Mind you, I use buggy weights with mine, and tI find I can store a few bags on it withoutr it tipping over.

It also folsa small, which is uselul in my postage stamp sized house

DS is perfectly happy in his, I just make sure I keep hold of the handles when I put bags on it (although to be fair, he doesn't seem too bothered when I forget and he ends up looking at the sky )

I love it for its size and easy steering (oh, and cos I got it cheap)

The Quinny sounds like an Elizabethan word for a fanjo.

Dullwitch - I completely agree - couldn't bring myself to even consider it for that reason - me and DH LOL a lot over the name!

IntergalacticWalrus · 08/10/2007 17:27

Lol

DP has oft said he's always tempted to join the 2 Ns together

Well, today I had 2 bags with school clothes in, 3 school bags, a handbag, a lunchbox and a coat on the back of mine. Did it tip? No, because I had hold of it!!

fawkeoff · 08/10/2007 19:35

i bought for the practical reasons as i was going on holiday and thought it would be fab because it was so compact when folded.i love the steering as it glides so well but the compliments end there.....it's decided i am going to sell it and get a new pram.
