AIBU to give this neighbour a nice gift

Our downstairs neighbour is a really nice bloke but he's driving me mental.

He's been learning guitar for 6 months and can still only play one song, which he practises daily for several hours, late into the evening.

Today he went out and bought an amp. So far we've had five hours of Smoke On The Water rumbling up through the floor.

AIBU to pop downstairs and gift him a nice cake with a few sleeping pills in it, then sell his guitar and amp while he is snoring?

Can you arrange a power cut for him as well?

This neighbour doesn't need a cake....a good set of headphones for them will do the trick!

Agree, maybe a polite note suggesting he gets some headphones?

I 3rd the headphones.

To be fair, the headphones idea seems a lot easier than producing a spiked cake then committing burglary.

Maybe less fun though.
