To ask for help to find a lost phone

So Mumsnet has been very helpful suggesting places to look for lost items so I thought I would ask again!

So... I confiscated DS2s phone a couple of days ago and put it in my pocket. I then took it out of my pocket later and put it on the coffee table before I took the dog for a walk. The next morning he asks for his phone back and I say it is on the coffee table. However no phone!

I have a terrible memory so perhaps I did not put it on the table! Also DS2 has an even worse memory and has form for losing things so there is no guarantee that he did not pick up the phone and has lost it himself.

Any suggestions greatly received for sneaky phone hiding spots!

Have you tried phoning it?

I presume you can just find it using the find my phone feature? Or in your parental settings?

Thanks, unfortunately when we realised it was lost it had run out of battery. Luckily after searching the whole house again (including taking the sofa apart!) we found that it had fallen into a bag. It only took us 5 days to find it!
