To be mightily peed off with Asda?

It is 6.37pm. Asda were supposed to deliver between 4 - 6pm. I have called their 'Helpline' which to start off with was engaged, and is now giving me a dead tone. I had to give ds a dodgy tea made out of frozen stuff, and looks like we'll be having a takeaway tonight!

V annoyed as this is the first time I've used Adsa - only because I had a voucher for free delivery!

Get on the phone to theri customer service tomorrow, and complain big time.

Sympathy. I had same prob with Tesco last week - phoned in the end and was told delivery would be an hour late. Expressed unhappiness and was told I "had to understand" time was only a guideline.

I explained I DIDN'T have to understand, that I was stuck in house with new baby and my dinner was, apparently, miles away in their ruddy van, and got the delivery charge refunded.

So is worth making a bit of a fuss.

I had this with Asda, the lady who eventually delivered my order was extremely rude when I asked her about refunding the delivery cost - which is what Asda say they will do if they have a late delivery. I couldn't get through to their number but emailed instead. They did refund my delivery charge (which won't help with you as yours if foc), but they never replied to my complaint about the attitude of their member of staff. It put me off using them again.
