To be baffled by Tesco's screening questions

I applied for a job at Tesco but failed their questionnaire, which suggests situations and asks you to choose a multiple choice answer for what you would do in each.

I always struggle with these kinds of tests as it often seems to me that all are good answers - or none - and there isn't an obvious answer.

Does anyone who has passed this test have any tips about how it works?

I want to work and I am prepared to put myself out to help people - but it is very hard to see exactly what Tesco are looking for in these ambiguous questions.

Has anyone managed to workout the answers to the Tesco external assessment? Sad

Well if you makes you feel better, I failed these tests too, which is bizarre considering up to four years ago I worked for Tesco’s, starting off on the till, then customer service desk and a supervisor and when I had to leave due to relocation I was told I was one of the best workers and they were sorry to see me go and if ever a Tesco’s opens near where I was moving too, I should apply as I won’t have any trouble being employed at Tesco’s and my old manager said he would do me a fab reference. These tests are really bizarre and don’t take into account real experience and common sense. I have got another job in a dept store, but I told my old manager, his reply was that’s ridiculous and offered if ever I leave my present job to talk to my nearest Tesco store to explain my experience and try and bypass these tests as it doesn’t add up

Hi I applied for a job at my local Tesco’s and when it came to the assessment, it seemed you had to select all the answers, so I clicked them in the order of relevance. Not select just the one answer. I’m not sure if I answered in the right way, got rejected as I didn’t met criteria, very sad blah blah blah, I don’t understand how I could be that wrong. How can selecting all the answers be right?
Thank you

It's the most ridiculous questionnaire ever. How anyone ever gets the answers right is beyond me. Whoever designed this questionnaire is a moron.
