Weird lump where implant is

So this was my second time around having the nexplanon implant. First time around I had no issues but swapped to the pill for the sake of regulating my periods. I then decided to give the implant a go for a second time. I’ve attached an image that explains the issue I’ve been having. My implant has been out for over six months and I am still experiencing this every two months or so. Any ideas?

Hey did you ever figure out what happened. This is happening to me with my new implant!

I had mine in for around 2.5 year and found the area generally uncomfortable the whole time. I didn’t ever have a lump though. However, It did move a few cm away from the insertion. In order to get it out the nurse had to ‘dig’ into my arm a bit, that coupled with insertion without proper anaesthesia (aka just a wisp of numbing spray) has put me off for a long time.

Did you ever figure out what happened? I have the exact same story (got it removed the 2nd time around because this lump appeared) and now a year after removal I’m getting the lump again. Ugh!

No, never found out the issue. But it’s finally stopped happening after almost two years!!!
