For the first time in a while, DH and I decided to have a movie night. We saw Hereditary pop up in a few "worth watching" lists.

possible spoilers

Wow is that over 2 hours we will never get back! I was so excited at the start, ticked all the right boxes. It honestly had so much potential, but as time went on the movie still wasn't picking up the pace and I was wondering how they would wrap it up with not much time spare. The ending felt quite rushed, and left me feeling disappointed. I wasn't quite sure why the people had to naked towards the end aswell?!

Please share the worst movie you have endured, so I can double check when I next recommend a movie Grin

Pet sematary 2. I just can’t take to it.
The first one’s good. (Original).
4 weddings and a funeral.
I watched a film the other day Called 2 for Joy. The actual film in itself wasn’t too bad, but There was no real plot to it.

Who framed Roger Rabbit.

grincheux · 03/04/2020 00:27

'The Room' and 'Ben and Arthur', both available on YouTube. You. Are. Welcome.

Purplecatshopaholic · 03/04/2020 00:29

The Royal Tenenbaums - WTAF was that all about. Or the film in space with George Clooney - even gorgeous George could not save that one!

Tothemoonandbackx · 03/04/2020 00:29

The Beaster Bunny....don't......just.....don't 🤣🤣, and Ad Astra......oh my god, I would pay someone to NOT watch that movie, NOTHING happens in it, it is THE most boring movie I have ever watched in my life, and I'll give anything a go, Brad Pitt is so monotone throughout the whole movie, it's beyond slow, it's like they wanted it to flop xx

SirVixofVixHall · 03/04/2020 00:29

Love Liza. So ghastly that we watched right up to the end, as we couldn’t believe it could possibly be that bad.

StrictlyAFemaleFemale · 03/04/2020 00:30

Matchpoint. It just dragged on and on ...

Once upon a time in Hollywood

And Hustle and Flow 😂

Absolutely abysmal films!

ImNotShpanishImEgyptshun · 03/04/2020 00:32

Hands down worst film: Epic Movie. Just awful. Your Highness is pretty bad too. And I'm not a film snob.

Tinty · 03/04/2020 00:33

The Lobster watch it OP you’ll love it 😆 (you really won’t)

BadLad · 03/04/2020 00:34

Samurai Cop. Absolutely diabolical, but so bad it's hilarious. The main character cut his hair after filming, but they needed to reshoot some parts, so in those scenes he is wearing a ridiculous wig.

The whole film is on YouTube.

MoreRainbowsPlease · 03/04/2020 00:35

Existenz and AI, both chosen by DP when we were first dating. He's lucky I didn't dump him!

Kitsandkids · 03/04/2020 00:36

I think it was ‘Year One’ I tried to watch a few years ago and gave up halfway through as it was so rubbish.

SkiingIsHeaven · 03/04/2020 00:37

Lost in translation.

Kitsandkids · 03/04/2020 00:37

Oh yeah, an ex of mine forced me to watch Existenz as well. To be honest I’ve totally forgotten everything that happened in the film but I remember thinking it was crap.

AngeloMysterioso · 03/04/2020 00:40

Tropic Thunder and that X Factor type thing with Hugh Grant... American Dreamz

springwedding · 03/04/2020 00:44

Mine

Soldier stands on a mine in the desert in the opening scene.

Soldier remains standing on said mine for the ENTIRE 2 hour duration of the film.

It's easily the worst film I've ever ever seen. Watch it for a laugh.

Ifonly86 · 03/04/2020 00:48

Agree about hereditary it bored the life out of me and the remake of pet semetary was a fail
Us - utter rubbish
Curse of la llorona it just didn’t go anywhere
Fifty shades of grey for the poor acting alone
Brightburn - awful

thenightsky · 03/04/2020 00:49

Mamma Mia

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 03/04/2020 00:52

Lost in Translation - completely unwatchable

Thedogscollar · 03/04/2020 00:54

Any of the Star Wars films. I'd rather stick hot pins in my eyeballs than suffer them.

allthegoodusernameshavegone · 03/04/2020 00:59

All Bridget Jones movies, Mamma Mia & all remakes of Jaws

allthegoodusernameshavegone · 03/04/2020 01:00

Sorry I meant sequels of Jaws
