I know we're not meant to ask for medical advice. So I'm after some other's personal experiences of a bruise that won't go away really.

I feel well, I'm not on any medication besides for IBS. I've had a bruise on my left calf for about six months. Not huge. Pic attached.

If it helps, three years ago I tore that calf muscle. But that was 2.5 years before the bruising started (After initial healing. Half my calf, to ankle was black, purple and yellow for a month at the time of injury.)

Also worth noting, I have always bruised easily.

Any experiences similar?

In the past, when I have bruised easily, I have taken a Vitamin C with bioflavanoids supplement.

Obviously check with Doctor before taking this.

Have you been to see your GP?

Is it possible that it's something you do that keeps rebruising the same area? eg sit on a chair and wrap your leg around the chair leg. If you bruise easily it might be something like that.

I would recommend to get a blood test for platelets/coags.

Thanks all. Not seen GP as it seems a small thing to bother them with. Guess I should. Thank you.
