Parental control apps

DD 10 had an iPod and received a couple of dodgy emails we've restricted her access but wondering what other parental control apps you have used. Not really AIBU but posting for traffic)

I use google family link for my ten year old and have found it to be excellent. I can see what he’s used and for how long, can switch access to apps on and off remotely as well as what permissions those apps have (for example can use the app but app can’t use the camera) and he can’t download anything without my permission.

Safe Lagoon is excellent

We use OurPact. We pay for for the premium one which allows specific apps to be blocked, screen time restrictions etc and also notifies us of any new apps downloaded

I would suggest you check online for hacks to whatever app you are thinking about using.
I installed one on my dc's phones, my main concern at that point was the amount of time they spent on their phones .
Worked great for some of them, but geeky ds repeatedly hacked it, making it pointless and led to another level of frustration due to gim being sneaky and dishonest.
I still have to verbally police his phone use, because otherwise nothing else would be done by him.

My DH uses Mobi sip for DSD’s devices.
He can see everything she does.
