Flooding

I really feel sorry for the people hit again by flooding and think there should be some central government funding to help them out. Also I think insurance companies should not be able to exclude national disaster for claims.

I'm a bit on the fence on this. There are towns where houses are getting built on land older people know has been historically boggy or flood prone. People really must research before buying these houses.

However, i do think insurance companies shouldn't be allowed to exclude so many things, otherwise what is the point of insurance?
