I sent an anonymous Valentine card to someone today for the first time. I don't know him very well but I find him very attractive. We've visited each other's profiles on a dating site but I have no photo on there and didn't contact him via the site because I see him in the course of my work and don't want to compromise that and feel awkward if he's not remotely interested. Also, I haven't been involved with anyone for a long time and am very chary about dipping a toe in those waters. Hence the card - I just wanted to make him smile. What do you think? Totally pathetic, pointless and infantile? Have you ever done similar? I will be seeing him during this year so will have a chance to chat to him more and see if my interest is at all mutual. If it is, I will braver then now!
