To be annoyed that DH is here?

Lighthearted obviously.

DH was meant to be going away with work today but he got a call very early this morning cancelling and I’m quite annoyed 😑

I was planning on having a ‘me’ day, watching a film in my pyjamas, having a long bath, facemask, nails etc, faffing/reorganising the house, then cooking a lovely roast for when he’s back later.

Now he’s here he’s stomping and clanging round the house, getting underfoot, trying to start conversations and all my expectations of a peaceful day to myself are shattered. I could still do the above but it doesn’t feel the same.

AIBU to be extremely annoyed? Grin

I’d be annoyed too!

I would be a bit peeved but pleased he was safe Smile

YABU

tell him you have plans and get on with them in peace.
He's an adult, he doesn't need you for the day!

My DH is on his way back from Germany, earlier than planned. He's arriving this afternoon instead of this evening and it's secretly pissed me off.

YANBU my DH's schedule changes all the time (he is away when working by nature of job) at very short notice. it's impossible to plan anything and he often ends up being home when i was otherwise being left in peace.

He may not be safe from his wife if he doesn’t stop whistling Grin
