So....me my DH and DD lived in a one bedroom house, we recently moved to a 4 bed house. It was an extremely quick move got a phone call Thursday afternoon and basically had to move within the week if we wanted this house. So long story short Saturday morning I had a skip dropped off, my DH cleared the garden while I boxed stuff up and cleaned. I arranged to collect a sofa, a fridge, a bed and a washing machine Sunday then we officially moved in on Wednesday. I worked really hard on Wednesday making sure all the beds were up and everything was put away. DH came home from work and did nothing but moan basically that he had to put the tele on the wall then couldn't find his slippers. I had a little cry but carried on cleaning and making tea. Today I have had a day of sorting DH and DD clothes out...all nicely hung in wardrobes yet my clothes are still in bin bags. After that I started sweeping the floor and nudged the TV which then fell off the wall luckily I caught it and it's not broken but DH has just come home and again done nothing but stomp about and rant about the tv. So I lost the plot I threw all his clothes out the wardrobe emptied all his underwear out the drawers and just basically went bat s**t crazy. I am 5 months pregnant, exhausted and just so fed up! I'm currently sat in DD room sulking

If you’re a SAHP, get back to work ASAP. His shitty attitude and laziness around the home will only get worse from here on in if you don’t.

Tell your DH to stop acting like a bloody child, man up and get on with helping you! You’re suppose to be a team not his mum. Flowers

Moving is really stressful, it is normal for people to argue I think. We moved on Monday / Tuesday this week and it was horrific. TBH I think it does take a few days or weeks to get your bearings, and there is so much practical work to do. With a child and normal work on top of that, it is just...awful.

Is he normally OK or is this a pattern?

Also, if the TV fell off the wall from a nudge, it sounds like you had a very lucky escape as that could have been a really nasty accident for someone. I think he should consider that, and possibly hire someone who knows what they are doing to fix it to the wall properly!
