Optimistic book recommendations

Sorry posting for traffic. I'm going through a tough time at the moment and feeling down. Can anyone recommend a good book about being more optimistic and having a bit more of a get up and go attitude, I'd love to be one of those annoying always happy people!

Oh please don't be one of **those people!! The fact you want to do something means you're already in the process.of changing your mindset. I don't have any recommendations for books but maybe some other things. Are you able to get out and about? Nothing better than a walk than getting the happy cells multiplying. Are there any nice parks you could go to? Do you drive? Go for a spin.somewhere nice, take a flask and a sandwich, cake etc, enjoy the scenery, relax. Look around you, really look. Listen hard, can you hear birds, the wind, the rain, let nature heal you. Download relaxation apps, take time for yourself and get some space to tune out.
Gosh sounding very hippy like when in reality I'm suited and booted manager during the week but outsidw that I'm out with the dogs ploughing through a muddy field somewhere.

@DontFundHate are you able to have a dog? (not sure if you own or rent which is why I'm asking).

I have made many friends through walking my dogs (or rather them walking, me scootering Grin) alongside.

People are more open to conversation if you have a shared interest, and walking a dog, getting some fresh air, and tips as to the best places to exercise off lead, (there are on fact "dog runs" where this can be done safely) etc just gives you not only a physical boost, but a mental boost too...

@TARSCOUT yes to everything you've said!
