Dd needs some physio (has had before) and will be some daily physio too previously I’ve taken him

Dh can’t get the time off and I can’t take him but dd (over 18 of that’s relevant) has offered to but the hospital said they aren’t sure ? She’s fully capable of passing on messages / giving us the exercise sheet etc etc they said it should be a parent ?

Can they tell you what the issue is? Since she's an adult presumably the only problem is that she doesn't have parental responsibility so can't make treatment decisions. Is there no way of consenting to her doing this? Presumably children must be taken to hospital appointments by nanny's, grandparents etc so it can't be a new issue.

If the accompanying person is an adult I don't see what the issue would be? Not that I think it should make any difference, but how old is the child having the physio?

I would probably try to take them to the first session if at all possible, along with their sibling who'll be taking them from there on out? Just to make introductions and get the ball rolling. Is that a possibility?

They said only parents usually attend ? I’ve explained dd is an adult, can pass messages to us is happy to sit in the session and be shown how to do any particular exercises (we usually tbh just get given a sheet anyway)
They said they have to speak to ‘the manager’? Surely it’s our choice and e important thing is he goes
