Pregnant or just perimenopause

I'm 44.
Had blood tests which showed I'm still ovulating last year.
Period in January was 12 days late and I only bled for a day, very light. Then 2 days brown discharge, again very slight.

Since then, my boobs have gone up at least a cup size occasionally painful, nipples darker.
Had nausea the last few days, only vomited once though. Last week I had what felt like cramps all week, and headaches on and off.
I've also felt very happy and calm when normally I'm very anxious.

DH had the snip about 6 years ago so I can't be pregnant can I?

Take a test

Sorry I didn't mean to have votes on this!

The only way you’d know is to take a test

GreaterGreta · 29/01/2020 18:11

I'll pick one up tomorrow. Arrrrgh!!

Nausea, vomiting, headaches might be a bug. Rest might be perimenopause. Take a test.

Testing is the only way you’ll know.

Any update OP?

ExtraOnions · 31/01/2020 19:50

I’m 47 .. not had a period since July, hubby had the snip 10 years ago. I have done 4 tests (just in case) all negative. I keep getting period like cramps, but nothing happens ... I am assuming menopause rather than hidden pregnancy.

AriadnesFilament · 31/01/2020 19:53

Well, I’ve got a cousin who turned up several years after my uncle had the snip. My auntie was most surprised when she did a test.

My parents thought it was hysterical.

My pal had her tubes tied and got pregnant somehow! Miracles can happen.

So did you take the test OP. Are you pregnant?

foxystoatfoxypig · 31/01/2020 20:13

There are so many other things that can cause these symptoms, as well as being pregnant or peri menopausal. Make an appointment with your GP.

POAS

Definitely take a test. It's entirely possible that you aren't pregnant, but there's a chance you could be and you should check.
