To think certain things you can't say

A very quick one. AIBU to think certain use of language especially regularly should just not be okay in a marriage (or with anyone)? To tell your partner to shut up? Or to tell them they HAVE to do something (wash up or other housework)? Or is it okay when you are frustrated and tired and feel like you're doing more than your partner?

Yes. Disrespect and contempt is the death of love. Spouses aren't employees. Teamwork is the key, with a common goal and lots of appreciation of each other's contributions.

It's never ok to speak like that to a partner. Contempt is a relationship killer and partners should always have a base level of respect for each other if you want the relationship to last.
