I'd love to know what her own situation is! Ignore it though. This is why FB is shit.

Sparklingbrook · 11/01/2020 20:38

Aaaargh it's another Harry and Meghan thread.

AlternativeReality · 11/01/2020 20:39

Yawn.

WonderTree · 11/01/2020 20:44

But surely if you're a member of the Royal Family then your 'class' is quite small. Presumably Harry should have married Beatrice or Eugenie?

busylifebusywife · 11/01/2020 20:44

Sorry if this came across wrong I'm not interested in it been about Harry and Megan. The view on a whole makes me feel uncomfortable.

Then reply to the post and have a barny with whomever put it up.

What do you want anyone on here to do about it?

OhTheRoses · 11/01/2020 20:48

Well William did and it's been a terrific success.

Marriedwithchildren5 · 11/01/2020 20:50

It's your friends opinion. Shes actually right. I dont care much for the royal family but Hollywood is a whole different type of entitlement and class.

midnightmisssuki · 11/01/2020 20:51

Oh Christ. Another one!

LazyDaisey · 11/01/2020 20:52

That Catimini advert on your FB Grin. Posh French boden

beanaseireann · 11/01/2020 20:52

OhTheRoses
I hope you are right.
There have been rumours. Sad

AgeLikeWine · 11/01/2020 20:54

William married outside his class. Kate, as the daughter of former airline workers turned self-made business owners, is very definitely middle class. That worked out well.

Charles married the daughter of an aristocrat. That was a disaster.

So much for marrying in your own class....

Pinkbonbon · 11/01/2020 20:57

meh...aren't rich people and other rich people the same social class anyway? I guess it's old vs new money maybe?

Then again I've always considered myself working class/lower middle class...but many of the working class in the area I've moved to now are not really like the working class from back home...they're a bit more...jakey. Sorry to put it that way but yeah...jakey.

I've gone on a couple of dates as a result of online dating round here and the second the poor sod has started talking I've been like 'oh, shit' as it's dawned on me.

Which is a dickesh thing to say but I have to be honest, it's clearly a social class thing. But hey, you fancy what you fancy. I highly doubt some upper middle class fella would be interested in me and that's fair enough.

But people can like what they like and marry what they like, telling other people who they should and should not like or marry is a different thing entirely.

Disfordarkchocolate · 11/01/2020 21:02

I don't think you need to marry in your class, you need to marry someone with the same values.

PicsInRed · 11/01/2020 21:06

Given the poster isn't concerned about Kate or Sophie or Fergie or Mike Tindall or even Autumn (Canadian) or Beatrices Italian chap ... presumably it isn't class or even nationality that they are cautioning against, but interracial marriage. I mean, the dog whistle was so loud that ears bled.

Seashells47 · 11/01/2020 21:07

Aren’t all the good love stories marrying/in love outside of ones class?

Thymelord · 11/01/2020 21:08

I can't concentrate on anything other than your low battery! It's making me anxious 🤣

eaglejulesk · 11/01/2020 21:11

I don't think you need to marry in your class, you need to marry someone with the same values.

This with bells on.

redexpat · 11/01/2020 21:14

Shes entitled to her opinion, even though its an unpopular one.

pallisers · 11/01/2020 21:15

I think it is fairly obvious what she is saying she just lacks the balls to use the correct word.

busylifebusywife · 11/01/2020 21:15

I don't know how to tag but the two posters are ho said about values hit the nail on the head for me.

In regards to my battery I've been sat next to the charger wire all night an not plugged it in. Now I'm in bed and it's down stairs Confused

thenightsky · 11/01/2020 21:15

Isn't the RF considered middle class by the aristocracy? Diana married below her class.

GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal · 11/01/2020 21:16

Is she married? If so please comment with a confused face Confused and the words "but it's worked so well for you two?!"

You need to be more discerning with friends.

Agree with pp, FB is utter sewage drivel....the Christmas sale pages testify to this Grin
