AIBU to be irrationally annoyed

by Lady Gaga and Beyoncé’s Telephone.

Just switch your freaking phone to silent. No need for a literal song and dance about it. Seriously.

And yes I know. It’s been irritating me for about ten years.

What’s irrationally annoying you this morning?

Being back at work after a lovely long break and having to do, you know, work. Couldn't they just pay me to go back to bed or watch Netflix?

Lol, not sure that’s irrational. 😀

Dh is usually out on a Tuesday.
It's my only day off.
And he is staying home...
Angry

Oh Why, that happened to me yesterday. First day without DC in 2+ weeks, and DH announced he was working from home.

Also not irrational. 😀

Karma just hit. Dh slipped on the stairs - told him if he had been out it wouldn't have happened!!
Awful dw that I am!!

I keep hearing the phrase "I could care less" instead of "I couldn't care less" and it really bloody irritates me. If you could care less than you care at least a little bit and maybe you care a lot. If you couldn't care less you don't care at all. Obviously I care too much!

I always shout that at the TV when it comes on MTV.

I pondered once how mobile phones have changed songwriting. There can never be a 'Hanging on the telephone', Steve Wonder couldn't call to say I love you (well he could, but it wouldn't be the same) and a dozen soft rock bands wouldn't be stood in phone boxes with their last dimes.
