No way would someone like Emilia Clarke sign up to this thrash!

MyNewBearTotoro · 05/01/2020 16:22

Anyone know how the format of the show works? I see that tonight we have 6 new contestants, presumably with one being voted off.

That means next week each show will have 5 contestants left but that won’t work with the 1 vs 1 format we had this week. Will they move one contestant over to give a show of 6 and a show of 4 or do they merge all 10 together? Or do they do something different to the 1 vs 1 format and the audience just vote for their favourite of the 5 and the one with the least goes?

Presumably at some point the top contestants from Sat and Sunday night will merge and go against each other?

This is the programme most like something from Charlie Brookers early Black Mirror. Terrifying.

Still couldn’t turn it off!

It is the most ridiculous shite to ever grace my TV and I'm unashamedly addicted.

After the show tonight, I think you'll just see the 10 contestants again and lose one a week. Or that's what happened in the first American series, I think they might have changed it for the second series.

So after tonight my guess is - no new contestants, just going up against each other in the vote. At least one singer unmasked at the end of each programme. But we probably won't know until next week!

It got quite good viewing figures apparently and beat the Greatest Dancer on BBC1 by some margin, I wonder if that's down to the YouTubing teens like my own wanting to see the British version.

Silverservice1011 · 05/01/2020 18:14

I thought the hedgehog was Joe lycett

Comefromaway · 05/01/2020 18:55

Think the chameleon is Chris eubank or his son.

Talulahbeige · 05/01/2020 20:16

Hedgehog is steve pemberton from the league of gentleman, inside no9

ludothedog · 05/01/2020 20:20

I think the fox is Toyah from the 80 ies

ChocChipWookie · 05/01/2020 20:20

Fox guesses at present here are Stacey Dooley, Denise Van Outen and the woman who plays Kat Slater...

ChocChipWookie · 05/01/2020 20:27

Ah, fox = Jane Seymour. Collects teapots. Short (5ft 2") and thin. Says she's equally at home in 'Town & Country' and has featured in that magazine.

OhioOhioOhio · 05/01/2020 20:29

It's a weird programme. I watched it on fast forward.

ludothedog · 05/01/2020 20:33

Tree is crouch?

ChocChipWookie · 05/01/2020 20:34

Tree is crouch?

I think so

MyNewBearTotoro · 05/01/2020 20:34

Do the celebrities pick their own costumes and are the costumes part of the clue?

Thorilicious · 05/01/2020 20:34

I think fox is Linda robson

billybagpuss · 05/01/2020 20:36

Fox - Anita Dobson?

RoseDog · 05/01/2020 20:41

That had to be paul Burrell

ChocChipWookie · 05/01/2020 20:45

pharaoh = Alan Johnson MP. 'Put his stamp on it'. Was a postman, so would see the Queen every day!

ludothedog · 05/01/2020 20:52

I think you're right about Alan Johnston

RoseDog · 05/01/2020 20:53

This program is so disturbing yet I'm hooked!
