Not aibu but need bissell help!!

Anyone else own a bissel stainpro 6 carpet cleaner? The hose with a brush has just stopped sucking half way through cleaning my stairs! I have tried taking everything off but only the brush end unattached! I'm desperate! Please anyone? Their customer support isn't open on Sundays

So what was the fix?

Managed to get the hose off the other end. But doesn't come off completely. Had to stick my fingers in and drag out the dirt and then put it back on and gave it a strong wiggle

Ours sometimes gets blocked like this. It can't cope with heavy dirt/lumps and will block easily - if our floors are quite dirty then I run the hoover round first and this stops it from blocking.

Yep did the hoover first. But with 4 kids running around plus regular visits from cousins. That's 8 kids it just didn't cut it! Anyways all sorted now. Looks like a new carpet
