The last thread is HERE and on page 35 so I thought I'd start a new one

I went to the theatre recently to a massively popular show and couldn't believe what I was seeing, about 5 minutes before the performance started 2 women approached the usher who was about a metre away from us "can you tell me, is Row B (6th row back) a better view than Row K or the other way round" the usher, obviously, said that Row B would be a better view. She then replied "OK great, well we have one ticket for Row B and one for Row K, but we want to sit together so can you just get someone in Row B to swap" 🤨

She was most put out by his unwillingness to help, and kept repeating it. He said that it's unlikely but if there is a single person in Row K they may be willing to swap, and she had a mixture of shock and disgust on her face "Nooo, we need you to get someone from ROW B to move to ROW K " 😠 "You work here, just tell someone they need to move" he again tried to explain this wasn't possible and that they needed to take their seats as the performance would be starting soon, she interrupted and demanded to speak to his boss. He told her that wouldn't be possible, they needed to take their seats or leave, and that he would get a manager over in the interval if she still wanted one. The friend was basically like a backup singer, nothing to add accept "yes, definitely, yes" etc, but had the same arrogance and facial expressions

The lights dimmed at that point and he ended up ushering them out, not sure what happened after that but I asked to speak to the manager in the interval and told her he handed it brilliantly, stayed calm and offered alternatives before finally making sure she didn't ruin the performance for the rest of us

So that's my latest, does anyone else have one/some?

I booked some upper circle front row seats for self and DS - best view possible of stage in middle of row
On arrival found 2 50-60 year old ladies in our seats - there were plenty of other seats available on same row just not right in middle
I very politely asked them to move and was told ‘but these are our seats’ I showed them the tickets obviously I was correct - however they insisted ‘but we always sit here!’
I asked to see their tickets and were shown some for seat numbers about 6 away from the middle so stood their politely (but obscuring their view) until they moved with a lot of huffing and puffing
Apparently they had tried to book those seats but disgustingly DS and I had already booked them!
There were lots of mutterings throughout the performance about how horrible we where and that we should have offered to swap because they ‘always sat there’
Eventually someone in the row behind told them very loudly to shut up
They disappeared altogether at the interval whilst giving us poisonous looks!
It slightly added to our evenings entertainment as we laughed about it all the way home!
