Can you give me a reasonable explanation for this?

I was ordering a new mobile from Tesco and they sent a pin code. I put the pin code in my lap top and put my mobile down. I haven't touched it again until now and there is a message which looks like it was being sent from me in spidery lettering which says happy birthday. The ay is on the line below because it didn't fit. I didn't do this and no one was with me. The thing is it is my birthday very soon - is there some button I could have pressed?

Where was the message and what was it written on?

It was written on my iphone - I have googled and apparently you can turn your phone the other way up and write a hand written message but the message looks like it is coming from me but I didn't do it and no one else had access to my phone. It's not one of the pre-written messages when you look at the phone!

Sticker or gif or something? If it's an iPhone there are all sorts of buttons under the box you write a message in that could be accidentally pressed.

No it was a text message and there is no gif stickers - I've sussed how you do it but I definitely didn't do it and there's no pre-set Happy Birthday message - it's really weird!

Is it possible that when setting it up you've put your date of birth in and its some weird apple thing?. Although I don't think I've heard of anything like this before

I don’t get the issue. Surely someone has texted you a happy birthday?
And it might seem a random text because they’ve gotten a new phone number?

It could be a website too that has your birthdate. I get weird birthday messages for my “fake” birthdays from various advertisers and apps.

Someone has sent you a text, my SD and I send each other texts in “invisible ink” all the time.
Either you’ve synced it to your old iPhone and you’re receiving an invisible ink text from someone you know as it’s linked to your iCloud or someone has coincidentally sent a text to your new number in error

For clarification, I have used the phone for the last year - had ordered a new phone separately from Tesco - they sent me a text with a pin code. I put this into my account and left phone. The next thing I looked at my phone there is an outgoing text in spidery handwriting from me but not sent that said Happy Birthday - my birthday is the 13th. I didn't touch phone in between, on one had access to it and it is not the same standard writing you get on those handwritten things. I can't explain it at all.

I accidentally posted three photos as a montage on Facebook, with my arse.

Anything is possible.

And it's not a new iphone - it's old and didn't even realise it had this facility! If I've done this fully conscious and sober without touching the phone I must have speak powers

Yeah you d accidentally caught it.
Go into iMessages.
Turn your phone sideways
Click the scrolly new option bottom right.
Hit Happy Birthday default prewritten option

You must have caught it as you put it down.
