To be wearing flip flops at 8°c

I am sick of winter boots already so today I've got the flip flops on with leggins baggy band slogan top and chunky knit long cardy and yes FLIP FLOPS!

DS is wandering around in cropped trousers and flip flops and has been since summer.

I do get what you mean though, I hate wearing socks and can’t wait until it’s proper flip flop weather.

Go for it. Round here I've seen sliders and flip flops being worn on bare feet. (I'm not showing my toes myself, but my mild-weather gesture is trainers on bare feet this week.)

I generally wear flip flops unless there's snow on the ground.

I've just bought some lovely new winter boots. They are amazing. It's currently -4.
I don't even wear flip flops in the summer, when it's 35 degrees.
However, feel free to do what you like.

I lived in an East Midlands high Asian community town. Regular sight in the market place: Women covered head to toe including face... and then flipflops peaking out under their dress/gown... with snow on the ground! Tough ladies. I sure couldn't do that.

I have skin which blisters exceptionally easily, I can’t wear anything on my feet without a layer of fabric between me and the shoes unless I want to end up with bleeding welts on my feet.

So in the night of summer, when it’s thirty degrees out if you promise not to point at me wearing shoes and socks and comment on how hot my feet must be, I’ll promise not to comment on your flip flops in January.

I cant wear flip flops ever. That feeling of the bit between your toes gives me the heebie-jeebies
